Understanding Your Therapy Costs: Good Faith Estimate
We want you to feel confident about the cost of your therapy sessions. If you’re not using insurance or don’t have insurance, federal law (the No Surprises Act) ensures you can receive a Good Faith Estimate. This is our best estimate of the total cost for your non-emergency therapy services, including any related fees, based on what we know when you request it.
You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before booking your appointment, and we’ll provide it through our secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Here’s when you can expect it:
• If your appointment is scheduled 10 or more business days away, we’ll share the estimate within 3 business days.
• If your appointment is 3 to 10 business days away, we’ll provide it within 1 business day.
• For last-minute appointments (less than 3 business days away), we strive to share the estimate as soon as possible, ideally before your session starts.
Please note that this estimate is based on what we expect your care to involve. If your needs change (for example, if we adjust the frequency or type of sessions), the final cost might differ. We’ll keep you informed if we anticipate any significant changes to the estimate.
If your final bill is $400 or more above the Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute it. You can start this process within 120 days of receiving your bill. For more details or to file a dispute, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
